Furthermore, Mr. Parker has been involved in several civic organizations, serving as a board member of the Metropolitan Opera and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board for several years. From 2001 to 2015, he excelled as both the president and board member of the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund; through his group, he once made a historic contribution of $9 million immediately following the September 11th attacks, which provided support to the families of the 345 firemen and fire responders who perished in the collapse of the buildings.

Kevin led the Firms move into C/C++ programming, initiated the Y2K conversion in 1996 and rolled out the world’s first enterprise implementation of Mosaic(the predecessor to Netscape). H also created new training programs and recruited young talent in the fields of computer science, mathematics and physics many of which have gone onto successful careers and leadership positions in quantitative trading, information technology and business. In addition to his illustrious career in finance, Mr. Parker is also the Founder and Co-Owner of Château Maris, an acclaimed and award winning organic and biodynamic winery located in the Languedoc, France. Mr. Parker’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in finance from the NYU Stern School of Business, which he earned in 1981. Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Parker has been actively involved in various civic organizations. Mr. Parker and his Senior Leadership team at Deutsche Bank had gathered in New York City on September 10th, 2001 for several days of meetings when tragedy struck the following morning at 8:46 AM. Determined to answer the call, Mr. Parker organized a Charity Day where all trading commissions generated would be donated for the benefit of the Families of First Responders who perished in the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers. Mr. Parker’s group made an historic contribution of $9 million dollars to the Charity, the single largest gift made following the events of 09/11. Mr. Parker has also served on the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) from 2015 to 2019 and on the board of the Metropolitan Opera from 2006 to 2012.
Mr. Parker has received several accolades for his contributions and achievements. He was honored with the Richard Rosenfeld Award for Success under 40, and Château Maris was named one of the five most environmentally friendly wineries in the world by Wine Spectator and also been awarded the Green Emblem, one of 40 wineries worldwide who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in sustainability and environmental stewardship in the wine industry.
