Mr. Parker, Founder and Chief Executive Officer/Chief Investment Officer of Sustainable Insight Capital Management (SICM), has dedicated more than 40 years to the field of finance and management. SICM is a global asset manager with operations in London, New York and Sydney. Sustainable Insight Capital Management focuses on long only and long/short equities with an emphasis on sustainability. Prior to founding Sustainable Insight Capital Management, Mr. Parker served as the Global Head of Asset Management at Deutsche Bank from 2004 to 2012. During his tenure, he was instrumental in restructuring and reshaping the bank’s asset management division for success. His leadership was marked by a commitment to innovation and excellence, record inflows of new money and record profitability. He retired from Deutsche Bank in 2012 after having served on the Management Board of the Bank for eleven years out of his fifteen-year tenure.

Mr. Parker’s was elected as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley at the age of 31. He achieved this remarkable milestone of becoming the youngest Managing Director ever elected at the Firm in its storied history. He held numerous positions until 1997 including Global Head of Equity Derivatives and Proprietary Trading as well as serving as the Firm’s Technology Czar tasked with restructuring the Firms Global Information Technology Infrastructure. Kevin led the Firms move into C/C++ programming, initiated the Y2K conversion in 1996 and rolled out the world’s first enterprise implementation of Mosaic(the predecessor to Netscape). H also created new training programs and recruited young talent in the fields of computer science, mathematics and physics many of which have gone onto successful careers and leadership positions in quantitative trading, information technology and business. His dedication to mentorship and training was evident always emphasizing the importance of health as the most important critical success factor to one’s life and career.

In addition to his illustrious career in finance, Mr. Parker is also the Founder and Co-Owner of Château Maris, an acclaimed and award winning organic and biodynamic winery located in the Languedoc, France. Since its inception in 1997, Château Maris has gained worldwide recognition for its pioneering efforts in biodynamic farming employing environmentally friendly practices along with the promotion of biodiversity and chemical free regenerative farming. The winery’s wines are consistently rated Outstanding (90-95 pts) to Extraordinary (95-100 pts) by the world’s leading wine critics.

Mr. Parker’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in finance from the NYU Stern School of Business, which he earned in 1981. He attributes his success to maintaining mental, physical, emotional and financial health, believing that one cannot achieve personal goals without being healthy. This philosophy has been a guiding principle throughout his career and life.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Parker has been actively involved in various civic organizations. He served as Board Member and President of the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund from 2001 to 2015. Mr. Parker and his Senior Leadership team at Deutsche Bank had gathered in New York City on September 10th, 2001 for several days of meetings when tragedy struck the following morning at 8:46 AM. Determined to answer the call, Mr. Parker organized a Charity Day where all trading commissions generated would be donated for the benefit of the Families of First Responders who perished in the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers. Mr. Parker’s group made an historic contribution of $9 million dollars to the Charity, the single largest gift made following the events of 09/11. Mr. Parker has also served on the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) from 2015 to 2019 and on the board of the Metropolitan Opera from 2006 to 2012.

Mr. Parker has received several accolades for his contributions and achievements. He was honored with the Richard Rosenfeld Award for Success under 40, and Château Maris was named one of the five most environmentally friendly wineries in the world by Wine Spectator and also been awarded the Green Emblem, one of 40 wineries worldwide who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in sustainability and environmental stewardship in the wine industry.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Parker enjoys most spending time with his family. Looking ahead, he envisions his business being celebrated for its remarkable accomplishments while continuing to prioritize sustainability and performance for future generations.
